Complete vaccination is considered to be: |
Double vaccination: valid for 270 days from the date of the second vaccination. Attention. There must be at least 14 days between the first and second vaccination. |
Booster vaccination: valid for 270 days from the date of booster vaccination. Attention. There must be at least 90 days between second and third vaccination. |
For Johnson & Johnson, the validity is 270 days from the 22nd day after vaccination. If convalescents are vaccinated, even the first dose is valid for 270 days from the date of vaccination. |
Only the following vaccines are valid for entry: BioNtech/Pfizer, AstraZeneca (or Covishield), Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, the Chinese vaccines Sinopharm and Sinovac as well as Covaxin, Covovax and Nuvaxovid (Novavax). So-called cross-vaccinations are also permitted. |
As proof of recovery applies: |
A survived infection with Sars-Cov-2 entitles to entry for 180 days from recovery. A certificate of recovery, a medical confirmation of a survived infection (must be confirmed by PCR test) or a certificate of isolation are valid as proof. |
How long are the tests valid in Tyrol? |
A PCR test that is not older than 72 hours. The test must be confirmed by an authorized body (such as pharmacy, test lane).or an antigen test that is not older than 24 hours. The test must be confirmed by an authorized body. Self-tests are not permitted. |
Entry without 3-G: |
Entry without 3-G proof is not practical for tourist purposes. If you enter the country without a 3-G certificate, you must register in advance and enter quarantine immediately. This quarantine will only be terminated by a negative test result. Here you can find information about the testing possibilities in Austria. Please note that it can take 24 hours or more until the test result is available. |
Children under 12 years of age do not need 3-G proof.
Use off-peak times
Use the off-peak times with low crowds to get up the mountain and back to your accommodation in a relaxed way. You can also choose such off-peak times for the return trip to the valley.
Wear FFP2 mask
Wearing FFP2 masks in all enclosed spaces is still recommended.
Keep your distance
We recommend keeping a sufficient distance from persons not belonging to the household.
Ensure ventilation
If necessary, please ventilate the cable car cabins during the ride.
Pay attention to hand hygiene
Please observe the general hygiene rules and wash your hands regularly. Disinfectant dispensers are available in the indoor cable car stations.
Dispose of used protective mask
Please do not leave your used protective mask or handkerchiefs in the cable car cabins, but dispose of them properly. There are rubbish bins in the station areas.
Follow instructions
Please follow the behavioural recommendations and also the instructions of the staff, especially with regard to the applicable hygiene regulations.
Paying cashless or, even better, buying an ONLINE ticket or from a vending machine
If possible, make use of cashless payment or buy your ticket directly in the online shop or at our vending machines.
Only healthy on the mountain
If you have symptoms that could indicate a possible Covid-19 infection (fever, cough, sore throat, loss of taste/smell, ...), please stay in your accommodation and contact the reception of your accommodation or a doctor immediately.
