Snowshoe-hiking
Enjoy a snowshoe-hike in intact nature - leave your everyday life behind - and gather new impressions in the snow-covered Zillertal mountain world beyond the ski-slopes.
You do not need any previous knowledge. Everyone can join in a shnowshoe-hike. You will see game animal tracks and get explained how the animals survive the cold and long winter. With a bit of luck you will see deers or mountain hares.
Infos / registration / meeting point
Meeting point ist the valley station of the SPIELJOCHBAHN in Fügen. From there a taxi-bus brings the group to Fügenberg or to Hochfügen. Then the snowshoe-hike of about 2 - 3 hours (depending on the snow depth) starts. A refreshment takes place in a mountain hut.
You will be provided with snowshoes, gaiters and poles. You only need good hiking- or winter-boots and winter clothing (drinks if you like).
The hikes are daily with max. 10 persons in order to keep quality and the impressions of our nature.
Special offers for business companies or clubs are offerred:
snowshoe-kikes with rustic tyrolean evening with typical live-music in a hut and sledging down the valley.
